Data processing agreement

This is a template. It is not a signed contract.

The customer is the controller. Digital Thinktank GmbH is the processor. The subject is the bookkeeping software: documents, the journal and VAT figures the customer enters or confirms.

Processing lasts for the contract. Books are then kept for 10 years after the fiscal year (CO 958f).

The processor follows the customer's instructions, which are the customer's use of the product. It does not use the books for its own purposes.

Sub-processors are the list on this page. A new provider is announced 30 days in advance.

The processor uses transport encryption and tenant isolation. Support access to a company's data needs the customer's time-limited consent and is logged. Maintenance by our two named operators is limited to scheduled jobs and is recorded in Google Cloud audit logs.
